Pair of stone lion scupltures from France. Some damage to stone is commensurate with age and an indicator that the sculptures were installed outside in the elements at one time. Each lion has a paw on a teardrop shaped shield with a diagonal banner and a star. Sculptures are symmetrical and mirror images of each other. Circa 1880. Dimensions for each sculpture are: 14"H x 5"W x 7"D
